DVP (the Society for Related Rights of the Press) has announced the signing of an agreement with Meta to compensate its members, press publishers and news agencies when content they produced was shared by users, specifically on Facebook.
“This agreement represents the culmination of a long-term effort. DVP will pursue its efforts relentlessly to defend the rights of its members and provide them with the best possible support as they navigate the economic and technological challenges ahead.” Jean-Marie Cavada, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DVP.
