DVP, the Society for Related Rights of the Press, announces the signing of its first agreement with Microsoft in application of the European directive that established a related right for publishers and press agencies in the digital single market.
This agreement concerns the Bing search engine.
The signing of this agreement is the culmination of several years of negotiations. The rights holders, publishers and press agencies represented by DVP will thus receive compensation for the use of the content they have produced and which has been displayed on the search engine between 2019 and 2024.
